NACCA is a registered charity providing strong leadership for our diverse resident Black community, especially Black youth. We serve the Newmarket and surrounding areas.

Executive Assistant (Part-Time)

📍 Hybrid – Newmarket, ON | 22 hours per week | $30–$35/hour | 1-year contract

The Newmarket African Caribbean Canadian Association (NACCA) is a charitable, Black-led, Black-serving and Black-focused organization dedicated to building community, strengthening families and empowering youth across York Region.

We are seeking a highly organized and culturally aware Executive Assistant to provide part-time support to our Executive Director. This role involves executive administration, financial reporting, stakeholder coordination and program/event support. The ideal candidate brings professionalism, cultural awareness and a strong commitment to NACCA’s mission and values.

Key Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of executive support experience (nonprofit or public sector preferred)
  • ​Strong financial literacy and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and time management
  • ​Cultural awareness and understanding of issues affecting Black communities
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Office Administration, or related field — or equivalent experience
