This workshop will engage participants in a historical and present-day overview of anti-Black racism in Canada. We will explore how racism impacts our workplace and community by looking at the Black experience. Over 90mins, participants will review key occurrences, misconceptions and ideologies that lead to racial inequities and will also learn how racism is systemically reproduced.
