We need volunteers.

From time to time, we need volunteers to help at events, projects and organization work. We would love to hear from you if you are interested in helping us. If you are a student, this can count towards high school volunteer community hours. Please review the form below that aligns with your interest and get in touch to learn more about what opportunities we have!

Volunteer Opportunities 
1. Fundraisers - immediately (ongoing)
2. Community Outreach Ambassador - immediately (ongoing)
3. Black History Events - February 2023
4. Scholarship Awards Ceremony - July 2023 
5. Kuumba Camp - Summer 2023
6. Community Garden - spring/summer 2023
7. Iris Malcolm Library Duties - ongoing 
8. Program Support Ambassadors - ongoing 
9. Youth Mentorship Program - 2023

Time commitment: 2-3 hours per week ongoing or 2-6 hours for an event/camp

Summer Student Volunteer Opportunity 

​The Newmarket African Caribbean Canadian Association Summer student volunteer program runs from June to August each year.  This program offers unique volunteer experiences in multiple areas that will help you to develop a variety of skills including but not limited to marketing, communications, leadership, public’s speaking, graphic designing and many more!   Please complete the form below to participate. Volunteering for the summer student volunteer program also gives you an opportunity to be apart of our Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) team which runs during the school year.
