Black-Owned Vendor Application.

‘BUILD YOUR OWN TABLE’

In order to ‘build Black’, we must create our own opportunities. As he accepted the Ultimate Icon award at the 2019 BET Awards, Tyler Perry urged Africans in the diaspora to build their own table as he built the first Black-Owned studio in Atlanta on a former Confederate Army base. 2020 Black-Owned Marketplace

‘We build Black economic power by creating opportunities that support Black owned businesses.’
The Black-Owned Marketplace will be taking place on February 8, 2020, from 10:00am - 3:00pm at Old Town Hall, Newmarket, ON on the main level of the Old Town Hall.

The Ujamaa Marketplace is a foundation to a social enterprise that is intended to unite the African Canadian community around the goal of economic development through cooperative economics.  The aim of Ujamaa Marketplace is to support and mentor the next generation of African Canadian business leaders by giving youth and entrepreneurs of African descent the access to resources that they need to successfully build their businesses.
