Iris Malcolm Library Launch

Over the past few months, we have been busy planning and organizing the library space for our community. A huge thank you to everyone who have purchased and donated books for this one-of-a-kind community resource centre!

As the first African centered library in York Region, the Iris Malcolm Library provides a safe space for readers to explore Black affirming books that educate about Black identities, history, culture and communities. Join us on Saturday, October 8, 2022, between 12 PM - 4 PM for the opening event! Tell a friend and drop by for a tour, storytelling, book check-out, prizes and more!
